Hand decorated candles

Tiger and Lily Boutique is thrilled to present Christy Oneto as our artist of the month for July. Christy is a 35 year old working mother who creates beautifully decorated candles. Christy specializes in creating what she is calling her Breast Cancer candles. Christy lost her grandmother to Breast Cancer in 2007. Her loss inspired her to put her creativity to work for a good cause. She began making decorative candles to give to friends and family who also lost a love one to breast cancer.

Each candle is hand decorated and very delicate. Unscented candles are used in most cases, on occasion Fresh Cotton white scented candles, may be used for the summer candles.  We find the scent adds extra joy to any room. Gift Wrapping Candles

When your gift is too lovely to be hidden under sheets of wrapping paper, flaunt it by wrapping it in a transparent sheet.

Gift Wrapping Candles

1. Wrap your candle in a transparent sheet. Seal edges and bottom with clear tape. Leave more sheet at the top to make gathers.

2. Once the bottom is packed, gather the sheet on top and tie it tightly with a string.

3. To decorate the candle, stick some sparkling confetti or shredded shiny leftover wrapping paper. Alternatively, you can glue a little bow matching the color of the candle. You can also stick some artificial greenery and flowers of the same color as the candle.

4. To add more dazzle to the gift, wrap a single string or confetti around the gift.
